Learning How to Make Coffee
Sometimes I wonder if I grew up in a sheltered environment, but there were just some things that I didn’t know when I grew up. It was apparent as soon as I started my first job working at a coffee shop - I didn’t even know how to make coffee!
But I was a quick learner, and it was really quite easy working with the best coffee maker and best coffee pot that we had at the restaurant. In fact, it was a lot easier than at home as all we had to do was put the coffee filter in the basket, rip open a packet of pre-measured coffee, and push a button - yes, that was about it.
What I gained from that job was an appreciation for good coffee and knowledge that usually using one of the best coffee makers and good coffee grounds would make a great cup of coffee - and that is all you will find when you come over to my house.
