Hired a Landscaping Consultant
I’ll be the first to admit that I am not good with the yard work or figuring out any landscaping design ideas for our yard. Basically, for the past few years, all we have had out back is grass and a garden. Yes, our yard does look pretty plain.
But I thought that we could do something about it. I had heard from a buddy of mine that there was a landscaping designs consultant in town that helped people like ourselves figure out how to make a nicer looking yard. I was hooked when I learned that there was an initial free consultation - which fit my budget perfectly.
Once the consultant came and talked with us, I knew that we had to hire her to fix our yard. She even criticized our lantana care practices - we were doing everything wrong.
Needless to say, she did a great job and now our yard is one of the nicest on the block. We should have hired someone sooner.
