What is a Mobile Website Anyway?
Have you heard about mobile sites? I hadn’t realized until recently that there was a difference between what you look at on a mobile device like your phone and what you see on a computer monitor.
Apparently there is quite a difference. Though you can view both types of site in either application, they are designed to work much better in their designated space. Mobile sites are reduced in size to fit the screen of a cell phone or other similar item.
If your site is WAP (wireless application protocol) enabled, anyone from around the world can view it!
There is no less available content or activity with a mobile site either and allows users to participate in polls and add content just like a regular Internet based website. Now, the question for most of us is: is it worth making one so that our content and already made website is accessible to everyone?
