A Dedicated Little Kickboxer
My son had his first kickboxing tournament last weekend and he did really well. I am so proud of him, as he worked hard to get the medals that he earned. He has, since he started, given kickboxing his full attention and has practiced every day without being told to. His instructors have nothing but good things to say about him and his dedication to the sport.
Because of his wins at the tournament on the weekend, he has qualified to be in the city finals. He is very excited about this and so are we. We have told him that if he works hard to prepare for the finals that we will buy him some new fight gear for the event. That is a really big incentive for him and I know that we can count on him to do his very best.
I don not know if he has a future in the sport, but if he doesn’t I know that it will not be for a lack of dedication and hard work. That is the great thing about my son; when he wants something he definitely gives it his all.
