My Gift Closet
I would consider myself to be an extremely organized person. I was always taught that there was a place for everything and if everything was in its place than you would always be able to find it.
My mother always had a closet that was for gifts. Whenever she would find things on sale, she would stash them away in the closet. Whenever we had a birthday party to go to, we were allowed to go and “shop” in her closet for our friend.
I have taken this idea one step further. My gift closet is divided into section. I have gifts for birthdays, gifts for baby showers and gifts for weddings. I also have an assortment of miscellaneous gifts, which I use for gifts of encouragement and for those just because moments.
It is nice to have, as I never have to run out and do last minute shopping for a party. It keeps me pretty stress free.
