Increasing My Wealth

I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t mind increasing my wealth so that I don’t have to wait until 65 to retire.  If you ask me, it doesn’t make much sense to work 40 years of you life, and finally have time to enjoy life when you are old.

So, what I have been doing is trying to reduce debt as well as own multiple properties, so that my portfolio is filled with a bunch of asset, and few liabilities.  I do realize that each of my rental properties does have a mortgage, but I make sure that each of them is profitable, so I don’t really count it as debt.

The whole idea for this way of thinking can be attributed to a property investing seminar that I attended years ago that showed how real estate was the real key to wealth, not mutual funds.  So far this strategy has worked out great for me, and if all goes well, I should be retired by 40 - which is just perfect.
