Scrambling to get a Home Inspection
Sometimes my life can feel very much like a whirlwind. You see, we flip houses and are always on the lookout for a good deal - even if that deal happens to be out of town.
We recently had a sweet deal fall in our laps, and we had to go check it out. Unfortunately for us, it was out of our hometown, so we were going to have to depend on professionals that we were not used to dealing with.
We found ourselves in Tampa looking at a house that was on sale at a deep discount and everything looked great. But, since I had been burned in the past, I wanted to make sure that I got a home inspection before making an offer on the house.
Though it took some work, we were able to find one of the many Tampa home inspectors to do an inspection for us - as it turns out there was a big problem that made us walk away from the deal. I am just so happy that I listened to my gut - otherwise, we would have owned a lemon.
