Making Time for Us
It was getting absolutely ridiculous trying to get in to see our family doctor. He had so many patients that it was taking over a month to get in to see him. This is not especially helpful when you need medical attention. Most things we see him for cannot wait for a month or more and we end up having to see a strange doctor at a walk-in clinic.
We decided to make an appointment with him to talk about it. After a month, when it was time for our appointment, he said he understood what he was putting his patients through and that he was going to be starting a health forum where we could ask him questions any time we had them.
It was a fabulous idea. He has always been quick to answer any questions that we have posted on the forum and we finally feel like we have the caring doctor that he once was back. It has been working well for us and I think that all doctors should look into doing the same thing.
