Profitable Language
When I was in high school, our school sponsored a couple of exchange students from France. It was a very interesting experience because there were not very many people in the school that could speak French.
It was a great experience for me because my dad is from France and I have been speaking French for as long as I have been speaking English. It was also very profitable because I was hired by the school for a translation service, so that the students would understand what was going on in all of the classes.
It was interesting because these students basically had to take all of my classes and we ended up becoming really great friends. I am going to see them this summer and it will be my turn to learn their culture.
