Grateful to my Mentor
I grew up in a very small town in a very poor family and basically knew nothing about money when I moved to the city after high school. I met a guy who really like to research stock and we soon became friends. After many discussions, he was very concerned for my lack of knowledge in matters of money.
I agreed with him that I had not been taught properly and asked him if he might not mind helping me learn about stock research. I did not want to follow in the footsteps of my family and end up the way that they are. I wanted to do so much more with my life.
I remember the day that I actually did my first stock pick and got so excited when I watched the value of it rise. My friend, who eventually became my mentor, taught me so much that I know that I would not be where I am today if it was not for him. I will be forever grateful.
