Growing Babies and Gardens
My husband and I have lived in an apartment since the day we got married five years ago. It was a cozy place and we called it home, but other than the great memories we made there, I was not sad to say goodbye to it in order to move to our new home. We had finally bought the house of our dreams.
One of the most exciting things for me was the fact that we now had the space to think about having kids. We both wanted a family, but neither one of us had been willing to raise a child in our small apartment. Our new house had the perfect room for a nursery and we decided it was time.
The other really exciting thing for me was the trip to go out and buy garden supplies. Growing up, we had always had a huge garden and this is something I missed so much living in the apartment. It just wasn’t the same growing herbs out on the balcony. It seemed that with the purchase of this house, all of my desires and dreams were going to be a reality.
