I will be taking a trip later this summer for a couple of months, and I have been deciding what to do with my belongings.  You see, I don’t really have anyone in town that could check on my place on a daily basis (I’ve asked my friends already), and I don’t quite feel comfortable leaving everything unattended for two months.

I have expressed my concerns to my friends and family in an attempt to get any ideas of what I should do.  My cousin suggested that I could store my possessions at one of the self storage locations near to my house.

I thought it was a great idea!

The biggest reason for ensuring the safety of my possessions is that I have a Grand Piano which is our family heirloom and it is irreplaceable.  I would not feel good leaving it alone for that long - it has been in our family for five generations and if we did lose it, it would be a terrible blow to the family (not to mention the trouble I would get into from my grandmother).
