Pleasing the Kids
When we were planning our European vacation, our young children were complaining that it sounded like everything we were going to be doing sounded boring. I can’t imagine why an eight year old would think that a wine tasting tour through Italian vineyards would be boring.
So, we decided to add a few things to the trip just for them. A major thing we did was to order Alton Towers tickets. The boys do not know about these yet and I think that the next time they complain that the trip sounds boring, I will get out the brochure, let them look it over and ask them if they want us to cancel the trip.
We are also going to be visiting a chocolate factory in Switzerland. Although it won’t be as fabulous as Willy Wonka’s I think that the boys will have a great time. We think that in return for us booking some things just for them, they can allow us a few adult excursions as well.
