Taking Uncles Money
I was not sure if I needed to purchase insurance in the town where I live. I decided to ask my uncle, who happens to be an insurance salesman in another city. I thought that I could maybe buy from him and get a better deal. I called and asked him if he could give me a renters insurance quote. He said that he would be happy to and that he would give me a deal.
He did give me a substantial deal and I know it is because he did not take a commission from the sale. It was great that he sacrificed this for me and I decided that I was also going to ask him for an auto insurance quote. He gave me super deal on that as well and told me that it was fine that I bought from him because he is in the same state as me.
I told him that he was losing a lot of money on me and he said that was okay because he loved me. I said I knew who I could come to when I decided to buy a home. I told him he would be the first person I call to get a home insurance quote. He smiled and said that thankfully that would not be happening for awhile.
