Setting Up Office
One of the things I love most about spring is that it is the start of garage sale season. I love to go to garage sales and each year I make a list of specific things that I am going to find. It is always my mission for the summer. This year, the top thing on my list is some home office furniture.
My oldest child has moved out of the house and has his own apartment now. I have always wanted a home office, but have never had the space. Now that he is gone, I can convert his bedroom into an office. I don’t want to go out and buy a whole bunch of new office furniture, but I figure I can find various articles at yard sales to make a complete set.
I remember seeing tons of office chairs during last season’s sales, so I am quite confident that I will find something suitable this year as well. Luckily, I have a desk and a computer already. It will be so great to get it out of the dining room and into an office. My two younger children are on board for this project and we start painting the walls of our new office this weekend.
