The Gift of Family
My grandparents are going to be celebrating their sixtieth anniversary in just a few months and I am sure that everyone in the family is trying to rack their brains to decide what to get them. The whole family is sending Grandpa and Grandma on a trip to England, but it seems to be harder to decide what to get them as individuals.
It was no easier for me. I was just married a few months ago, and after paying for the wedding, we did not have a lot of money left for extras. We were able to contribute a little bit to the trip, but not a very significant amount. That made me want to get them an extra special gift, just from the two of us.
That is when I came up with the idea of putting photos onto canvas. I took photos of all four of their children and their respective families and had them made into canvas prints. The end results were incredible and I know that they will absolutely love them. It may not be a trip to Europe, but it is something they will enjoy immensely.
