Making a Landlord’s Life Easier

Now, I am sure most of you are not landlords out there, but for those of you who have had the experience, you know that it is not always a walk in the park.  Between keeping the grounds and the inside of the property in tip-top shape, they have to deal with problems, fix things, and answer the phone when it rings.

For most landlords, one of their least favorite jobs is finding new tenants.  Sure, you do get quite a few good tenants, but when you have a bad one come along, that is when a landlord questions why they have the job.

In order to try and get quality tenants into their property, a landlord spends a lot of time qualifying tenants.  First they meet the prospective tenant, then they get them to fill out an application.  After they have gone, they call and check the tenant references.  If those are good then they call them back to see if they are still interested.

Does this take a lot of work?

You bet.  Thankfully, there are companies now that provide tenant check services so that the landlords do not have to spend so much time checking out their prospective tenants.  With a quick turn around time, usually the landlord will know within a day whether or not they should call the prospective tenant back.

So, if you are an investment property owner, increase your ability to fill your property by outsourcing your tenant background checks - and let your landlord do what they do best - manage your property.
