Found the Perfect Distraction
I do quite a bit of writing and sometimes I hit a block. It is funny that you could be on a roll, churning out words and then all of a sudden… nothing. It is as though your mind just goes blank and loses its’ creative juices. In order to get my mind back into a functioning state, I need to find something to distract it from work.
Usually, what I do is look for some very cool websites and browse through them. Sometimes the sites have just cool stuff like jokes, movies and pictures. Though some people would just consider this to be just stupid stuff - it is entertainment for me.
Once in awhile, if I am writing about a particular product, I search for some of the best reviews on the Internet. These can sometimes serve as an inspiration to get me going, with the added benefit of actually learning something.
