Looking towards Future Technologies
Being a leader in our field requires us to continuously look as see the future before we get there. This may mean that you start selling a product before it becomes popular, or at least make sure that you are educated about what will be available.
Some good examples are chip card readers which would allow you to use your bank card and credit card (if they use the new smart card encoding techniques) right in your own computer. These cards add a new level of security to your online purchases and minimize the risk of identity theft.
Another great example is the new SIM applications that have been developed to enhance your mobile phone experience by offering additional applications, or extending the ones already present on your phone.
How do we keep up? Well, that involves a lot of reading both online and offline. But let me tell you, after what I have seen, the future sure looks interesting.
