Doing a lot of research on the subject over the years, I always tell people to use caution when taking an over-the-counter drug or an herbal supplement. They can have side effects that are not known and can be dangerous if mixed with other substances. I have heard so many people suggest to others that they buy Ephedrine, as there are no side effects. This is simply not true. Ephedrine can be lethal if it is taken with a stimulant, such as coffee.
It worries me to no end that people take OTC medications without giving it another thought. Most people who know what they are doing take Ephedrine for asthma and they are well aware of the fact that they mustn’t have caffeine while on the drug.
Asthma sufferers are most likely to take Biotek Ephedrine and will usually, if they are smart, talk to their doctor before undergoing a new form of treatment. So, next time you hear that a drug is harmless just because it doesn’t require a prescription, do some research. At the very least, ask your doctor about it before taking it.
