Learning from Leaders: Franchise Investing
If you look at many wealthy people that have made their own fortunes, they invest in two different things: real estate and businesses. Today I am not going to talk about real estate - rather I would like to talk about business investing.
Most of these people either have created their own businesses or have invested in some of the top franchise opportunities. The reason franchises are so popular is that they offer proven businesses that work - you don’t need to figure out much on your own. It can allow the investor to have a very "hands off" approach to running the business - they don’t have to be at the wheel to run it.
Quite a few of the places you visit on a daily basis are franchises. In fact, you may have notices many of the fastest growing franchises opening in your home town - if they haven’t it is a great opportunity for you to invest in a franchise there in your area.
Now, one thing I will mention, is not all big name stores are franchises. Take Starbucks for example - their stores are all corporate run. No one can buy a Starbucks franchise - but that may change in the future.
If you are interested in making some money and becoming rich, do what the rich people do: they invest in franchises.
