Trip Preparations: Obtain Travel Insurance
I have never traveled abroad before now, and I was very surprised at how much work planning such a trip was going to be. There are so many details to work out and when one starts to plan a trip like this, they don’t even think about a lot of these details. One for me was travel insurance.
I figured this would be a piece of cake, until I saw how many travel insurance companies there were out there. Then I was just overwhelmed. I didn’t know what to base my decision on, so I figured the best thing to do was go for cost.
I received a lot of travel insurance quotes and narrowed it down to a few that I could afford. I then looked at what each had to offer for the price and my decision came quite easily after that.
So, I now have my travel insurance and am counting down the days until I go. Look out world, here I come!
