Diamond Comparison at Local Show
There was a trade show over the weekend where jewelers were able to showcase their wares. My girlfriends and I were excited to go - and we brought our money with us.
When we got there I was surprised at the variety of jewelry. There was everything from hemp necklaces to fifty thousand dollar diamond necklaces. If you could wear it as jewelry, it was there.
We started off in the diamond jewelry, where we were able to help settle an argument. You see two diamond stores were arguing that their wares were better than the others. They asked us ladies to decide if Houston diamonds were better or worse than San Antonio diamonds. I am sad to say that we were split down the middle - we couldn’t solve their argument.
The only thing I ended up buying was a couple loose diamonds for a little project I am working on - I am making a diamond charm for my cell phone.
We spent the better part of the day looking at all the jewelry, and I wish we would have had more time. They have decided to make it an annual event, so I think we will check it out next year - I had better start saving my money now!
