A Little Finance Lesson: Using the Internet

Just a few days ago, I asked, no urged you to take a look at your personal finances to save some money.  I said you could do it at home using the Internet to help you find the best products for you (essentially shopping around).

Did you do it?

I bet most of you haven’t.  First off, I believe this because it has only been a couple of days since my last post - that really wasn’t fair on my part.  Secondly, most people procrastinate when it comes to things like money, so I didn’t expect too much.

I also had some questions emailed to me regarding what I was writing out.  Some of you were confused as to what I meant by using the Internet as a tool.

Well, that is easy.  Basically the Internet lets you have all the information you need, right at your fingertips.  For example you can do a car insurance comparison and compare the plans from multiple companies right in front of you.

Looking for a bank account?  You could easily look up articles or reviews about the best savings accounts for example.  Another thing you could try is to compare credit cards side by side to see what the differences are.

If you want a quick guide do this:  use a web browser to go to your favorite search engine and search for what you are looking for -that’s it!

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
