A Simpler Time
Take a minute to think with me on business in this technological era.
Twenty years ago, a credit card was a credit card. You may have had a Visa or a Master Card (even both), but that was it. Now, if you compare credit cards online, you are given thousands of choices - and you can pick from the best credit cards. Even a Visa is not just a Visa anymore.
For instance, back then, a Visa was a burgundy colored card that you could charge things on. Now, your options are limitless. You can get features such as cash back or 0% interest.
Not only that, forget the single colored card. Now you can have just about anything pictured on your card. For example, my card has the logo of my favorite NHL team on it - something you never saw twenty years ago.
It is wonderful that we have come so far, but I miss the times when the world was so much simpler.
