Weighing My Credit Card Options
Well, I have decided to take the plunge and get a credit card. I thought it would be relatively easy and painless, so I went to apply for one online. Little did I know that there are about five million options on what you can get for credit cards.
I guess instead of just getting one, I should compare credit cards to find the best one for me. Doing a little research showed that I could get a low interest card, one with some type of rewards points or a cashback credit card.
It seems to that all the benefits vary with what you pay for fees. Usually the free cards don’t give you anything, and if you pay fees you get other rewards. I decided that if I was going to go that route, I would have to figure out how much I would have to spend to make it worth my while.
Lastly I had to look at the brand of the card. There are lots of places that take all the major brands of credit cards, whereas others maybe only accept one or two. That being said, I think I will be here for awhile…. and I thought it was only going to take a couple of minutes….
